Get Feedback from the SC MIRECC Clinical Input Committee
By Dr. Mary Shapiro
Do you have an ongoing or planned project that would benefit from clinical feedback from VA frontline mental health providers? If so, please consider presenting your project to the South Central MIRECC Clinical Input Committee (CIC). The purpose of the CIC is to provide helpful feedback and suggestions on projects designed to advance clinical practice, research, or education. CIC members are mental health providers from diverse professional backgrounds from sites across VISN 16.
The next CIC meeting is July 22, 2026, from 12-1pm CST (via Teams) and there is availability to present. The following future meeting date is October 28, 2026 (12-1).
Projects should address Veteran mental health and can range from educational, research, clinical programming, and program development. Most presentations and feedback sessions to the CIC are 20-30 minutes to allow time for discussion and feedback. Projects across all stages are welcome (e.g., developmental, implementation, sustainment).
If you are a VISN 16 investigator or clinician and are interested in learning more about the CIC – or if you are interested in presenting your work – please see the flyer, visit the CIC website, or email the CIC Administrative Team.
