NW MIRECC Presents
MIRECC Presents is a CE accredited education series on mental health topics provided by the VISN 20 Northwest MIRECC, in collaboration with the VA Employee Education System (EES). This is a webinar series held on the first and third Wednesday of each month from October to June, between Noon and 1:00pm (PT).
The intent of MIRECC Presents is to translate current scientific and clinical research into information that can be used by clinicians to enhance the care of Veterans. By integrating cutting-edge treatments and timely research into their daily clinical practices, mental health providers are empowered to provide the highest quality of care for Veterans experiencing mental health challenges.
Learning Objectives of the MIRECC Presents Series
- To enhance knowledge and skills in assessment, differential diagnosis and the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
- To improve the connection between contemporary research and the clinical care of psychiatric disorders.
- To facilitate biopsychosocial multidisciplinary team management of complex psychiatric disorders.
