CoE Welcomes First Cohort of Diversity Research Trainees to Support Early Career Investigators
The VA Center of Excellence for Suicide Prevention (CoE) is proud to introduce its first cohort of eight Diversity Research Trainees. Participants were selected as part of competitive application process and are currently enrolled graduate or medical school students interested in a career in research. The inaugural cohort in The Diversity in Suicide Prevention Research Program received one-on-one mentorship from CoE experts and participated in hands-on training to prepare them for a career in suicide prevention research.
