- Bio: Dr. Bramoweth received his Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine at the University of North Texas and completed a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Florida Health Science Center. He completed a VA Advanced Fellowship in Mental Illness Research and Treatment at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. He is a staff psychologist in the VAPHS Primary Care-Mental Health Integration Clinic, where he provides clinical care to Veterans with chronic insomnia, other sleep disturbances, as well as mental health disorders.
- Research Interests: Dr. Bramoweth's research interests include behavioral sleep medicine, dissemination and implementation science, and integrated care. His program of research focuses on the implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions for insomnia to increase access to care, in particular through the integration of brief treatments in the primary care setting. He is the recipient of a VA HSR&D Career Development Award, which funds his current work.
