About the Presenters
Dr. Ali Abbas Asghar-Ali is a geriatric psychiatrist at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center where his clinical work focuses on delivery of electroconvulsive therapy. He serves as the Associate Director for Education at the South Central MIRECC. He is also an Associate Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine where he is the geriatric psychiatry fellowship director. His educational scholarship focuses on geriatric psychiatry, culturally attuned psychiatric practice, and faculty development.
Dr. David Wittkower is an IQUEST Health Professions Education Evaluation and Research Advanced Fellow. He works on creating and evaluating the implementation of educational products for Veterans and healthcare professionals. He enjoys taking high-level concepts and research and transforming them into easily digestible concepts to improve the well-being and education of audiences.
