Biography:
Jessica Martin is a clinical psychologist by training and serves as Associate Director at the Center for Integrated Healthcare (CIH), overseeing the Education and Implementation (E&I) core focused on Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI). She joined the E&I team in 2018 as an Education and Implementation Specialist, to support and enhance high quality PCMHI across VA through resource development, education, consultation, and implementation support.
Dr. Martin began career in VA in PCMHI in 2007 when she joined the Hampton VA Healthcare System to develop, implement, and lead their new PCMHI program. She began collaborating with CIH in 2013 on several national projects, including PCMHI Implementation Facilitation and the National PCMHI Competency Training development and roll-out. Dr. Martin also serves as a faculty member for the (BH QUERI) Implementation Facilitation Learning Hub. She is passionate about innovating, developing, and implementing evidence-informed interventions, strategies, and solutions to improve processes and quality of care in integrated care settings.
