Research Interests

My research focuses on targeting transdiagnostic risk factors for mood, anxiety, substance use and suicide-related outcomes.

I am interested in developing and implementing brief interventions targeting these risk factors to reduce distal and proximal risk for suicide. Relevant risk factors I have conducted research on include anxiety sensitivity, intolerance of uncertainty, attentional control, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and loneliness. I have also recently begun to identify means of using technology to increase efficacy of these interventions, especially through the use of ecological momentary intervention.
