Bio: Dr. Boland is a research psychologist at the Cpl. Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center and Clinical Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2014 from Temple University, and completed the Philadelphia MIRECC Advanced Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2017.
Research Interests: Dr. Boland’s research focuses on the intersection of sleep, circadian rhythms and mental health. Currently, she is examining reward processing impairment as a potential underlying mechanism of the insomnia and depression comorbidity.
