- Bio: Subhajit Chakravorty, M.D., is a psychiatrist involved in research in the Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC) of the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PVAMC). Dr. Chakravorty received his medical diploma from the University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He completed his psychiatry residency training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, clinical sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and a postdoctoral fellowship in comorbid addiction and sleep disorders at the VISN 4 MIRECC, PVAMC.
- Research Interests: Dr. Chakravorty’s research goal is to better understand the comorbid insomnia in recovering alcoholics, in the context of addictions, psychiatric and medical factors, using cross-disciplinary measures.
