- Bio: Dr. David Oslin is a Professor of Psychiatry at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He is the Vice Chair for Veterans Health in the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Oslin is the Director of the VISN 4 Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC) and the Associate Chief of Staff for Behavioral Health at the Crescenz (Philadelphia) VAMC. The MIRECC supports research on implementing precision mental health care and facilitates a number of research projects for postdoctoral fellows and faculty. Dr. Oslin also serves as the executive site director of the Stephen A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Oslin is the author of over 200 research publications and 30 chapters, books, or editorials.
- Research Interests: Dr. Oslin’s research interests include studies of access to behavioral health intervention care, treatment outcomes for addictive disorders, and pharmacogenetics of mental health care. His current projects include the Precision Medicine in Mental Health (PRIME) Care study, a multi-site randomized controlled trial examining the use of pharmacogenetic test results in depression treatment. Additionally, Dr. Oslin continues research on the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based practices for integrating primary and mental health care.
