- Bio: Dr. Scott is a clinical psychologist at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center and Clinical Associate in the Neuropsychiatry Section at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology at the University of California, San Diego and completed a NIMH T32 fellowship at the National Center for PTSD in West Haven, CT, focusing on functional and structural neuroimaging techniques. Dr. Scott joined the Philadelphia VA MIRECC in July 2013.
- Research Interests: Broadly, Dr. Scott's research interests include the cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology of neuropsychiatric disorders. More specifically, Dr. Scott is interested in characterizing dysfunctional neurocircuitry in PTSD; using fMRI and neuropsychological methods to investigate the overlap between PTSD and addictive disorders; and the relationship between neuropsychological and everyday functioning outcomes in psychiatric disorders.
