Biography
Biography: Ms. Chewning-Kulick is a 24 year Army Veteran and serves as the Center for Integrated Healthcare’s Administrative Officer. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, her MBA from Syracuse University and is a board certified healthcare executive. While on active duty, Ms. Chewning-Kulick served in various medical administrative positions with increasing responsibilities primarily in Resource Management. Additionally she served in numerous leadership roles in both Medical and Research Activities in both field and fixed organizations Stateside and Overseas. Her last assignment was Chief of Staff (Chief Operating Officer) at Darnell Army Community Hospital at Ft Hood, TX. Ms. Chewning-Kulick calls Texas her home, but currently resides in Syracuse NY.
Center Responsibilities
Center Responsibilities Ms. Chewning-Kulick is responsible for (everything except research!) advising and/or coordination of administrative policies, programs, and operations of the Center. She implements actions to ensure all administrative requirements are met. She performs all the administrative functions of the Center that include: budget and fiscal management, supplies and equipment management, contracting, human resources management, strategic planning and program evaluation. She works closely with the Center's Executive Director, the Associate Director, and the Directors of the Center’s Research and Education/Clinical Cores. She develops and implements strategies to achieve both Medical Center and Center for Integrated Healthcare’s goals and objectives. Lastly, she develops and implements policies and procedures governing the activities of the Center.
