VISN 5 MIRECC - Call for Participants
Call for Participants
Here you will find information on VISN 5 MIRECC stuides that are actively recruiting participants:
The VISN 5 Mental Illness, Research, Education and Clinical Center is conducting a study to create and evaluate a bystander activation intervention to address gender-based harassment of women Veterans at VA. We are looking for Veterans (male and female) and VAMHCS staff to participate in focus groups to help us develop this intervention. Participants will be asked to view educational materials on different ways of responding to gender-based harassment and share their thoughts on how to improve them and make them as relevant as possible for VA settings. Participants will attend one focus group, with 6-8 participants per group, lasting ~1 ½ hours. Veteran participants will be compensated $40 for their participation. If you would like more information about participating in the study, or to refer someone to the study, please contact us at 443-625-8719.
