Research InterestsDr. Stokes is an epidemiologist with an emphasis on applying advances analytic methods to population-based datasets. Her research interests and experience have largely focused on mental health. She has prepared and analyzed large, complex datasets to examine risk factors associated with suicide from longitudinal cohort studies as well as cross-national general population epidemiologic surveys of mental, substance use, and behavioral disorders.
