Email: Bridget.Shovestul@va.govResearch Interests: Serious mental illness (SMI), specifically schizophrenia-spectrum disorders (SSDs); role of social anhedonia and social pleasure processing deficits in social functioning and community integration efforts; psychosocial interventions for negative symptoms in Veterans with SSDs; socio-environmental moderators (e.g., social exclusion, discrimination, adaptive paranoia, etc.) of treatment disengagement in Veterans with psychosis; Person-centered approaches to improve the translation of evidence based practices (EBP)s to Veterans' lives outside VA; peer support implementation within existing SMI EBPs
