This interactive map allows providers to connect with a VA chaplain with specialty training in evidence-based and collaborative approaches to care. Shown are current locations of VA Chaplains who have completed or are participants in one of the IMH offerings described below.

- Mental Health Integration for Chaplain Services (MHICS) is an intensive training that aims to better equip chaplains in VA and Department of Defense (DoD) in the provision of care to Veterans and Service members with mental health problems. (Preceding link provides more information and a map of all participant locations at the time of training.)
- The Dynamic Diffusion Network (DDN) is comprised of IMH-trained chaplains and mental health partners who have been identified as leaders in the areas of moral injury and suicide prevention based on approaches they have developed to address these complex problems. The moral injury group offered by this chaplain is currently being evaluated and refined as part of the DDN.
- The VA and DoD Learning Collaborative brought together teams from 14 medical centers across the country to focus on better integrating mental health and chaplain services at their respective sites.

Chaplain Arthur led Spiritual Care Week at the Carl Vinson VA with the theme “Hospitality: Cultivating Space,” including a labyrinth walk, which was featured in the local news.
Chaplains Janet Hanson, Valerie Sanders, and Pat Roberts
Chaplains Hanson, Sanders, and Roberts chapters 5 (Hanson), 6 (Sanders), and 11 (Roberts) in the 2018 book, Case studies in Spiritual Care, edited by George Fitchett and Steve Nolan.
Chaplain Chris Antal
Chaplain Antal had his collaborative Moral Injury group, co-led with Dr. Peter Yeomans, featured in the NY Times Magazine.

Chaplain Gretchen Hulse
- Had her innovative Suicide Prevention Simulation Training featured on the VA Pittsburgh Website.
Chaplain Richard Ross
- Had a piece highlighting MHICS and CCTP published in The Spirit of Chaplaincy for the February 2018 issue.
Chaplain Bruce Swingle
- Is part of a collaborative suicide prevention project that is a winner of the 2017 Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Community Partnership Challenge and was selected as a Gold Status Practice in the Third VHA Shark Tank Competition. His collaborative practice received the most bids ever in the VHA Shark Tank competition's history.
Chaplain Valerie Sanders
- Wrote a piece titled “The Gift of MHICS” in The Spirit of Chaplaincy for the May 2017 issue.
Chaplain Kerry Haynes
- Received the Undersecretary for Health’s award for Excellence in Clinical Staff Chaplaincy
- Named a Gold Status Fellow in 2016 for his Chaplain Groups for Veterans with Moral Injury, as a winner of the “Shark Tank” competition that is part of VHA’s Diffusion of Excellence Initiative
