Noosha Niv, PhD
Dr. Noosha Niv is the National Education Coordinator for the VA Mental Health Centers of Excellence and Director of the VISN 22 MIRECC Education and Dissemination Unit. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at UCLA and completed a NIDA postdoctoral fellowship at the UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs. Dr. Niv conducts clinical and health services research in family and couples therapy, psychosocial treatment for severe mental illness, and development of healthcare infomatics. She leads the national MIRECC/CoE Communications Team, is the Editor of MindView, VISN 22’s mental health newsletter, and was the editor of Mental Health Innovations, a VA national mental health newsletter.
