Pilot Study Grant Opportunity for Health Service Area (HSA) 4.1 Investigators
Pilot grants are a foundation for supporting larger quality improvement and research projects. The SCMIRECC Pilot Program is a great opportunity for investigators who are interested in pilot funding for projects that aim to improve Veterans’ access to high quality mental health and substance use treatment services, as well as to help community partners better serve the behavioral health needs of rural and other underserved Veterans. We invite pilot applications that support our mission: To promote engagement, access, and quality of mental health care for Veterans facing barriers to care, especially rural Veterans. Investigators in HSA 4.1 are encouraged to apply for a pilot grant and may receive up to $55,000 over 12 months to support their work. Visit https://www.mirecc.va.gov/visn16/research.asp to download the request for applications. If you have questions, contact Dr. Brandon Griffin (Brandon.Griffin2@va.gov).
